... the bathroom door. I wondered how a person in a wheelchair would deal with that. There was a small shelf behind the sink and I wondered if a person in a wheel chair would be able to reach it. And the tub was well equipped with bars, but I wondered if a shower stall with a bench would not have been more practical. The whole experience made me very grateful for my abilities and more aware of what a struggle life must be for those with visual or mobility issues.

    ... their facilities are great. We spent the morning in Starbucks enjoying an expensive tea and stealing their wifi. Cranston is a pretty well to do neighborhood so we were surrounded by some pretty snazzy looking business people. After we were done at Starbucks we grabbed a quick lunch in the Westy and started driving to Connecticut!     ... and skateboarders too. Yale was founded in 1701 and today it retains its old world charm. The university has grown over the years and even as late as 2007 new additions have been made, some in a mock 18th century style, others using modern architectural design - an odd mixture when viewed side by side. We did spot the occasional Yale-sweater-toting student, but the place seemed to lack the hustle and bustle we'd felt at Harvard. An interesting halt ...
