Set out to drive to Reno, in Andrew's camper van, to stay with brother James, his wife Peta and 11 year old twins Sarah and William.

Drove across the Great Salt Lake Desert. Eerie view of salty mist rinsing off the lake and the salt flats.

Stopped at Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, where Malcolm Campbell, father of Donald Campbell, attempted the world land speed record in 1935.

... changed to 02.45. So stupidly we booked a taxi truck for 00.45.Friday night revellers delayed that till close to 01.30 and then the comedy of errors we get tot he station only to find another delay this time 08.30. Back to the hostel to grab a bit more shut eye, setting the alarm for 06.30.
