... drives. Its about an hours walk but very pleasant and getting warmer (still in jeans). Each year they have a waterway parade for christmas. Ft Lauderdale is like a mini venice, full of waterways lined with extremely expensive houses, many owned by the rich & famous. We saw Janet Jackson's house, we knew that as we went on a waterway tour last time and they were all pointed out to us. All the people dress up their yachts with ...

There were 35 individual studios within, each with an artists name on the door and a display of their works, together with their equipment for carrying out their work and their business cards on the outside. This was our last stop, tomorrow we are at sea all day and will need to pack and get organised for our next ...

Once the tour had finished everyone headed out to find somewhere to eat, at this point we were both quite hungry so we didn't search for very long before getting something to eat. A group of us ate at a Mexican restaurant called 'Oh! Mexico' which was quite a nice place Jake ...

      Night 4: Merritt Safari

... first one we saw was a huge 10 footed. The second one was fighting with another one... A rare sight because most of the time they just soak up the sun. The good sinning spots are worth fighting for. There were people fishing all along the narrow road and there were plenty of fish to have. At the end of the road we continued to Playa Linda Beach, part of Cape Canaveral Natl Seashore. Lounging at a beach in the height of winter is exactly what we drove all this way for. Usually ...
