... We limped to the bus station at the end of the day, thoroughly worn out but full of memories, cameras full of photos, still wobbling a bit from the many rollercoaster rides and ready to hit the sack. These two days have been so full of fun and laughs, and it was great to be able to spend it together with beautiful weather and enjoying the health and blessings God has given us! Thinking of you all.

One thing is sure: we certainly got our money's worth out of our tickets!

... Los Angeles, which most people we'd spoken to had said not to bother seeing. It was great seeing the road signs for the likes of Mulholland Drive and Sunset Blvd., then for the Queen Mary herself. Got a bit confused about the parking there but opted to drive up to the entrance, unload and take advantage of Valet Parking... well it is the Queen Mary, and it was only $3 more than the parking fee we had to pay anyway...!!! ... in. After Hollywood we made a couple of pit stops at some shops... The first store we went to was a shoe clearance warehouse which was HUGE! I have never seen so many shoes in one shop before... There was so much choice for ladies and men and so many amazingly high heels! I chose to buy a pair of sparkly black sneakers instead which I love! We then stopped at Ralph's Supermarket which was interesting to see the difference in pricing on groceries... ...
