      Gas cost $63.96 before arriving. First thing me and Buddy did was buy jackets made from Chicago because the clothes we brought from home stood no chance for Chicago weather. For lunch we ate Jack in the Box which cost us $11.74. After eating, Buddy wanted to visit the Buckingham Fountain so that he could drop a penny in there for good luck. Even though I thought it was going to be a waste of time, we still went and I ended up liking the fountain.

      ... and down the river, and getting an even better sense of the layout of the downtown. Numerous people live downtown, by the waterfront, riverside, where buildings like the Marina Towers means it's possible to never leave your home as all the amenities and offices are right there. In case you were wondering; if Macy's is the equivalent of Myer, then Bloomingdales is the equivalent of David Jones.       ... us that this flight was now cancelled! We immediately de-boarded the plane and looked up at the departure board to see that hundreds of flights were being cancelled before our eyes!. We ran to the AA's Flagship Lounge to get their assistance in re-booking us on any flight that would get us out of Chicago.
