    ... and walked along the riverside that's more like a canyon with the tall buildings acting like cliffs on each side of the river. In the evening we opted to go up the John Hancock building. Not the tallest building in Chicago, but not far off it. You can pay to go to the observation deck, but we opted to go to the bar on the 96th floor instead.
