    ... and it still falls apart. ) The fly started "spitting" water in heavy down pours. The rain fly is never tight, it sags, even using the guy lines. When it gets wet, the rain fly will touch the tent body, allowing condensation to run down the side of the body, into the UNSEALED seam by the tub....and into the tent. When you have to get out of the tent, the damn zipper on the rain fly catches the zipper cover and jams up....at least 3 out of 4 ...

    ... We were surprised by a trail angel, Bill Ackerly - The ice cream man! - he gave us ice cream and hung out with us for a long while. Bill also beat us at croquet, of course it was the first time any of us played - so he had the upper hand :)......lol. He left for dinner, leaving us at his home...what an awesome guy!! Some Southbounders stayed at his place, we have to make miles, so it is off to the next big hill tonight :(. Made it to the road ...
