... also checked out the Venice canals where the affluent residents reside. They were tame in terms off beauty but were absolutely rammed with watercolour wielding Warhol wannabes.
We skated back up to Santa Monica and by three we had walked 16 blocks to find an American institution - Taco Bell. It's a fast food Mexican takeaway and served us up some nice quesadillas.
For the evenings entertainment we had a shop on the Third Street ...

... 8230;I don’t care as I am taking a day off tomorrow but poor Sam has to be up early to make the first hotel shuttle!

It’s Monday now & I am soooo relaxed that I am about to have a nanna nap…I have had a delicious pedicure, long hot shower, ran a treatment through my hair, got all our washing done & popped up to the shop for a few more supplies. This is a lovely lovely day & I am going to make the most of my ‘me’ time!

... busy town. We hit every red light on a long road. They were irrigating there and was strikingly lush and green compared to what we had seen. On average 85 km per her was the norm if you wanted to flow with the crowd on their highways...
