... I saw a plenty of birds, fishes, insects and lizards!
Second, we visited the Navy SEAL Museum. It was so impressive to see all the Army's equipment. Outside, we could see different replicas of boats and helicopters used by the American army! My favorite part was the training course that I had the chance to try (see the video). I met a dog trained for army. He was so smart! I really liked my experience at this museum!

... we go down to the bar which is on the edge of the bay for a drink & have calamari followed by fish 'n chips, one cod the other mahi mahi, both are good but I think the mahi edged it - really pretty watching the pelicans & boats coming in. We then walk down to a bar we'd passed along the road, really redneck, only serve beer or wine - I have beer as the clientele, a very drunk lady covered in tattoos & her partner ...
... day were pretty spectacular. And that was before I had consumed any mai tai!
That evening the sunset was spectacular with an amazing palate of pinks, blues, purples, oranges, and yellows (and whatever) painting the sky. The atmosphere was incredible, the music was fabulous, and the experience of listening to Jimmy Buffet live under the palm trees and a star-filled sky on a warm Florida evening really couldn’t have been a more perfect ending to my first month of month of PhD research.
... we had a wonderful time anyway. We met up with Steve and Debbie for dinner and talked for over two hours. Great friends...great time!
