October 16th, we moved from Jacksonville to the FAMCAMP on Patrick AFB.

Up to this point, we had no issues while on the road, but today the passenger rear tire on the Jeep somehow picked up a nail and developed a slow leak. ... we go down to the bar which is on the edge of the bay for a drink & have calamari followed by fish 'n chips, one cod the other mahi mahi, both are good but I think the mahi edged it - really pretty watching the pelicans & boats coming in. ... had booked a camel-back safari, so I ended up going with them on the back of my very own camel named Chewy. I then got to see the entire ranch again, including the pygmy hippos, from atop a wet camel who loved being scratched behind the ears. I'm on my way back to hospital after sleeping for over 12 hours last night and will share more later on.

Makana's dad arrives today and Bob will be here on Monday. The bris will be on Thursday and then we'll be working on settling in to life with a baby.
