It's motel is a great place for a family vacation. Right across tHe street from the beach, it has a pool, barbecue grills, picnic areas, shuffleboard and ping pong as well as free popcorn all day long. The staff were very welcoming and let us use all the facilities even though we arrived hours before our rooms were ready, The rooms are clean and comfortable, and include cooking facilities. I highly recommend it.

I had planned to spend a day on the beach at Rehoboth Beach, one of several beach towns along Delaware's short coastline. The Delaware beaches are very nice and much less commercialized and honky-tonk than either Ocean City, Maryland or much of the Jersey Shore.
I thought I’d be safe going mid-week but forget about going to the beach anywhere in the eastern U.S. between Memorial Day and Labor Day if you don’t like ...

Tomorrow we move on - catching the 10am car ferry (2hours.30min) to Lewes, then dropping South over the Chesapeake bridge-tunnel to Virginia Beach a further three and a half hours car journey.
