It's motel is a great place for a family vacation. Right across tHe street from the beach, it has a pool, barbecue grills, picnic areas, shuffleboard and ping pong as well as free popcorn all day long. The staff were very welcoming and let us use all the facilities even though we arrived hours before our rooms were ready, The rooms are clean and comfortable, and include cooking facilities. I highly recommend it.

No matter how peaceful night crossings can be I am always scared for what I can't see in the water, and we have seen a lot of logs and debris in most places, especially on the Hudson. We did sleep a little on and off, but we were up mostly all night. The only issue was that the wind did NOT come from NW as forecast, instead it came from the south pretty much the whole trip so we could not sail until the ...

We're back in our comfy house and back "on vacation" - cycling, swimming, golfing, fishing, eating etc when we're not just lazing around.
Enjoying the warm, sunny weather, better than we expected for this time of year.

Friday: George went out fishing, it was a nice warm calm day, only small fish caught but good fun. Barb went shopping and swimming.

This morning, woke up at 7:00am and Legend was ready to go outside. Beautiful brisk morning. I have on pants and jacket. The sun feels good! Legend is getting used to going to the bathroom with cars buzzing by on the highway. Jess and I spent some time today at the outlet mall next to the hotel browsing. We tried a very popular seafood restaurant this evening too. It was crowded at 5:30 with a 20 minute wait....when we left, the wait was over an hour. It's ...

Ryan and I awoke early and headed outside with Legend. The air is brisk....I had my jacket on and Ryan wished he wore his. Invigorating and awesome!! We had breakfast and coffee and are preparing for the day. I will work from the lobby for a few hours and Ryan may have to go to his testing for work soon. Matt and Jess are still ...
