    A full days driving today, with a couple of stops. A total of 357kms (approx 214miles). Maximum speed allowed in the motorhome is 90kph and with all the winding roads you can't average much more than 50. Left just after 9.30 this morning and arrived in Wellington at 6.15pm.     ... better players from each team happened to be the American imports, not the home-grown talent. We did however witness NZ star Troy McLean become the most capped Saints player in history, as well as a basket ball playing monkey mascot! We also discovered that as well as the All Blacks rugby team and Black Caps cricketers, New Zealand boasts a Tall Blacks basketball team and a Black Cocks badminton team!

    Our next stop was Kaiteriteri. There's not much to say about here, it was pretty boring. We arrived early evening, took a wander down to the beach for a bit then headed back to the hostel bar for a few cold ones before scoffing some local fish and chips. We met some new friends in our hostel who would be traveling with us on the next leg of our tour. A big shout out to Lana, James and Matt who were a great bunch of folks!
