... University didn't seem such a good idea so instead it was more shopping for Jarn - this time for a new scarf. His warm, stylish favourite scarf is still draped around the mirror of our hotel room in NY. We can report much success - a new stylish warm scarf for Jarn, new warm gloves for me and a baseball cap embroidered with 'Duke Medical Australia'. What more could you want from a day out in Boston. You want more? Well, we also sampled our first Dunkin' Donut ...

... After waiting over an hour for the washing to finish and dry, we went to al dente on Salem st. As it wasn't very busy we had awesome service, got into long conversations with our waitress and the waiter. We ended up sharing a carbonara and some meatballs on the side, with loads of bread as I was so hungry due to the cold weather! She also gave us complimentary lemoncellos to end our meal, delicious! We found an Italian bakery and I had a canoli for dessert back at the hotel. Day ...

After a 30 min walk we found ourselves at the entrance to a very pretty parks known as Boston public garden. It borders the more famous Boston Common a magnificent ...

... the YWCA, not a hotel. No, this spot would not be ideal for me. We left and I said I know what I’ll do for my Boston long stay. Let’s get out of here and enjoy our day!

We had “Pinkberry,” we stopped into the Boston Public Library to admire its beauty, we hit the Nordstrom Rack on Boylston, and we headed over to Charles Street to meet my friend Elaine. I was so happy to sit in an outdoor cafe and catch up on her latest adventures ...

... Pathfinder SUV today after Greg driving us around all day yesterday in his wagon. Got back to the hotel safely with the car and started out to the game at Fenway Park (opened in 1912 and is the oldest ballpark in MLB) this evening for Boston Red Sox vs Toronto Blue Jays.

We drove to Kylies to pick her up and went in by train. The ground is fantastic! Very old but at the same you can see it's looked after ...
