      Second day at SEA Semester.
We had the usual intro to courses, syllabus, book, materials and so on. But the highlight of the day was the visit to the library of Woods Hole. There we had the chance to see books as old as the 1500s, depicting illustrations and ...

Arrived on campus and made my way to the house. We are 18 students in total, 2 houses of 9 students each. On the first floor there is a large kitchen and living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. Check in wasn’t until 5pm so we left our bags and headed to the main street to get a good spot to watch the amazing 4th July parade.

Though the Americans do not have the length of history we have in England they really know how to cherish and celebrate what they do have. ...

... in the northeast. The northern portion of the Cape is fairly bleak – scrubby trees, no grass, lots of drifted sand...It’s towering, weather-worn sand dunes are not a pretty site either. At one time, this area was lush and treed but the Pilgrims slashed and burned until all of the topsoil blew away - 400 years later nothing grows.

Provincetown – THIS was the landing place of the first Pilgrims in 1620. From here, they marched ...
