What an amazing few days. The scenery on the drive changed from the Utah plains, to enormous mountains, red rocks, natural arches, huge Colorado plains with herds of cattle and stampedes of horses. Then Telluride, the most amazing town I have ever visited.

We're heading back up the mountain this morning because only half of us went snowmobiling, while the others went on the snow mobiles we went tobogganing and had snow ball fights, awwww I love the snow so much!!!!! Then back on the bus :( we went to monument valley and they had an Indian festival thing on that was kinda cool, but they views were amazing. We also got to go into these little hut things that the Native American Indians lived ...

The Feds knew that they'd been had, but decided it would be impossible to catch them at what they knew was going one. So they never went back and Silverton went back to being Silverton. ... thru the snow and up the mountain. Now rentals are usually driven by first timers. Guessing this guy got quite a treat and a great story to tell. I pulled over and put it back in 4 wheel drive and we preceded down the mountain. SNOW IN AUGUST! From the pictures you can't tell that 4wd is needed but I guarantee you would not get from 7000 feet to 11,000 feet on this road without it. It was great fun! We drove right along the edge of great drop offs on a single lane around curves. ...
