... as we could catching up with my Mum's twin sisters Ina and May. Both live in a retirement village, however, May is in a more secure area called The Manor due to the onset of dementia. With Ina we were able to help her by going to two clubs, The Liverpool Club and the Catholic Club in Prestons, where she renewed her membership. Nice meals at the clubs but no luck on the pokies. Also took her to the cinema whilst in Liverpool and saw the Exodus ...

... while then went in the sea. The waves were awesome and it was by far the best water I'd been in in terms of fun. You could go in to waist deep water and all of a sudden it would be over your head with the waves so you had to time the waves and jump with them. We spent a couple of hours floating between sunbathing and being in the sea but unfortunately there were these stupid fly things that seemed to be everywhere on the sand and wouldn't leave you ...

... a 'rug rat' friendly destination. Kinda wished I now had invested in some Beats noise cancelling headphones! I'm sure the investment would come in handy to use against guru too...hope she's not reading this! Virgin flight didn't disappoint! Good breakfast served at lunch time, good service, good crew, pilots kept the plane steady and all was well in aisle 4! Managed to sneak in a Peroni with lunch....2 hours later we ordered a couple of G&T's. ...

... a dry, brown landscape that has been seriously crinkled leaving only a few flat dry patch worked farmed ground with a few houses in each of the valleys or wadis. There do not appear to be sealed roads connecting these isolated communities but I can't see any donkeys from 11km in the air either. ... So expensive!) . I think I will look into car hire after all ........ Found the best sandwich shop, best perching spot in Hyde park and fell asleep. Not sure how long I had been asleep for but when I woke I had a pool of dribble around me and had, had quite an Inbetweeners moment of sleeping on an Ants nest!!
