An 8am departure today with a 328km total distance. Our first stop was Monaco. The whole country is only 2.2 square kilometres, the Nice airport is bigger in area. This is where the rich and famous live, or more realistically it is where they say they live. There is no income tax in Monaco. All the country's costs are met by the profits of the casinos. The views are awesome and the number of expensive motor boats is amazing. When leaving we drove around the formula 1 track, ...

... Doug had Roast Chicken. We each had a salad and a small strawberry cheesecake.

We missed any of the snacks offered because we were asleep but woke in time for breakfast. Both of us had the hot breakfast which I'm pleased to report was very edible.

I watched two movies after I woke up ... one was "Jack Ryan : New Recruit", and the other was "The Monument Men". I enjoyed both movies and was glad I saw them.

... People that I spoke to before we went told me if you're going to India you have to see the Taj Mahal. Well, it is out of this world: "they" were right. India is commonly referred to as "Incredible India": it was more than that and more. I would return to the country any day in the future. An incredible holiday with lovely company. I'd recommend it to anyone for their bucket list. Something that will remain with me for years to come.

... a single person or what to even expect but i do not regret my decision in going away. I LOVED IT. I met some of the best people and i am so grateful for the friendships i formed over the 8 and a half weeks of being at camp.

You really dont know your limits until you step outside of your comfort zone, yes i had travelled before but i never travelled all by myself ...
