Spent the afternoon replacing a tire and trying unsuccessfully to patch tubes. Everyone else biked all or part of the day biking 56 miles to Greenland Cove Campground on East Grand Lake which borders Maine …

We drive to Saint Stephens and meet Rogers mom Fay, she is a sweet sharp won am with a great sense of humor. We all fall in love with her and I am inclined to call her Mom! She is just a wonderful woman who has been tortured with 5 boys and three girls. Actually they are a tight family with lots of family functions. Made it across the border with the friendliest border guard we've met in a long time and stopped for the night at the Winsome Inn in St Stephen. What a great place - large, super clean room, able to pull right up to the door. Stayed in ...

... windows and porches were over the top. One could get use to staying there. FYI – the Hubbard Cottage is open for small groups to stay there while having a convention/off site meetings.

From there we drove around the island and ended up at the East Quoddy lighthouse. We were there at high tide, but if you get there at low tide, you can walk across the ocean floor to the island where the lighthouse is.

          As we were driving ...

... selection of cereals in individual boxes, but only one small 8 ounce carton of milk. Store bought mini muffins and pastries were also set out if anyone wanted them. There was also coffee, tea and juice available. Considering the group size, this was not an adequate amount of food based on the group size. Fortunately, we made a coffee/fuel stop in Bangor at Dysart's. We purchased some coffee and cheese portions ...
