We have started off very smoothly today. The flight out from Weipa was on time and we even arrived at Cairns airport 15 minutes early woo hoo! The hotel we are staying in for 2 nights looks lovely, but I think we may have the geezer brigade next door. We can hear everything and they are clucking around like chickens! Thank goodness for ear plugs.

I don't ...

After an early start the six of us spent a great day on a Sunlover Catamaran Cruise from Cairns harbour. We were fortunate that the boat was at a bit less than 50% capacity so there was plenty of room to move around during the trip. After a brief stop at Fitzroy Island to pick up a few more tourists, we headed to the outer reef where they have a large pontoon. ...

    ... morning had started.
We packed up and checked out at 9then got a cab straight to the airport. When we went to check our bag in the guy said we were only booked with carry-on luggage, and he was right. Bloody hell, I hadn't made the original booking with a checked bag, I'd added it in for our flight here when I did the online check in. But after all the hassle of the online check in with Jack and Nuggets flight, I'd decided just to check in at the airport for ...
