      ... trees, one of which had been the inspiration for the tree in Avatar! We went off to see these trees first, and they were amazing! I'm not normally a huge tree fan, but these things were incredible! Take a look at the photos to see what I mean, they were truly a sight to behold! From these, we then then started to wiggle our way around the lake...now on our very basic map, it just looked like a normal road going all the way ...

      ... after the chatting we finally got going about 11. Headed to mossman gorge which was really nice. We did a 2.5km walk stopping on the way for swims. Went and got some food and headed back to camp. Day 4...went on calypso today, a snorkelling trip to the Great Barrier Reef. It rained most of the day, but the water at least was still clear and very warm. Took some good shots, and b got to see a reef shark.       We woke bright and early filled with excitement for our Christmas Day Adventure! After a tropical Christmas breakfast of succulent mangos and greek yoghurt with granola we slathered ourselves in sunscreen and walked to the Cairns Pier Terminal.       ... little Nemos, clown fish. But my favourite part was when we swam about 10 meters above a white tipped reef shark on two different occasions! The food and the crew were awesome and really helped us to have an incredible day.
