    ... up with ice cream at Ted Drewes. Erin & I fought off hypothermia as we ate our ice cream in the parking lot, using the car to shield us from the wind. A guy had mentioned to us that it was probably around 71 degrees (f) I'm the springs but most likely 10 or so degrees warmer in the river. And were we glad for the increase in temperature when we hit the river. One by one we ended up having the Roper's (4 people), Simeons (3 people), Davis' (5 people), Elliotts' (4 people), Hale's (2 People), Johnson/Williams' (2 people), all four of us and four American ring-in's (the neighbours of the Simeion's).
