By the time we got to Toowoomba, in Friday 5th September, to our caravan we were knackered. It took Maurice longer to get over the flight but I was okay after a good nites sleep in my own bed. The van was okay but with one flat tyre which we pumped up. Not bad for being left for 4 months.

Saturday we went to town to get some food. Then back to the van for a lazy day and to watch the Aus ...

Around lunchtime it was time to head back as a storm front loomed in the sky. Very dark clouds and some soaking rain. We got stuck in the most excruciating traffic jam back into Byron Bay that almost turned us mental (well mummy ...

... leads from Bondi, through several other small beaches, to Coogee Beach, 6km down the coast. The coastal walk not only goes through beaches and parks, but even a cemetery. It was a pleasant afternoon. Sunday I was tired of the tourist scene, so I found a cafe near David and Gina's that makes crepes, which I enjoy too much to pass up! It was nice to see a neighbourhood outside of the city and what most visitors wouldn't experience.

Monday was another early day, as I had a ...
