So today we were in kingscliff our morning started with some sunbathing on the beach which was really nice and extremely quiet, a little different to surfers paradise. We then packed all our gear in the car and headed on another road trip, this time to Byron bay. Our first road trip with a difference :-) we got lost/very lost!!!! Some how managing …

I had to watch each and every one of my fellow skydivers build up their nerves and then get thrown head first out of the plane, knowing my turn would ultimately be coming very very soon. We headed out to a river to start the fishing but the weather was decidedly un-Australian and big grey clouds had descended over the sky, threatening to take a monumental **** over ...

... Arriving here at the reception I heard that the wifi is to be paid for! What? First hostel ever where I do not receive together with my room key the wifi code! I see the prices… one dollar for 15 minutes. WHAT??? But of course if you read further, you see 10 dollars for 24 hours. But I did not see that then. I receive my sheets and towel and so, with all that and my backpacks I start heading for the room, miss a little path, go too far, and turn around for 10 ...
