        Just as waves come in sets of three, so did our biggest challenges of the trip so far. Paul stepped on a stingray (which is not very common even for Australians). What we learned is the stingray's barb injects venom that causes severe pain! Initially, Paul thought he just cut his foot, then the pain got worse and worse until we ended up in a doctor’s office.
