      ... snacks later, we headed off to check out the shops. Nice things in Facets and the other shops but some were a little different to items available on the Emerald - a bigger ship. We were listening to a musical trio just near Provence dining room when a couple from the Emerald stopped by to say Hi … I had forgotten they were on this cruise too !!

      ... to the Panama Canal, it is just another port town. More Fjords then back to the Pacific and onto Valparaiso the port near Santiago, Chile. About 560 people we doing the back to back like us but a new 1400 people were embarking. Back to a major capital city for a tour after passing through the Casablanca wine region on route. Can't do everything but we did sample lots of Chilean wines on the cruise which of course were featured. ...

      ... at some service centres and sampled Dunkin' Donuts for morning tea and Wendy's for lunch. We were hoping to go to a wildlife centre on the way but we ran out of time and so went straight to the hotel.

      ... back into the daywork mode was quite an adjustment, but at least it kept me busy and out of trouble.

      We've had many fun wine nights at the house, a 'tornado' party where there were about 40 randoms at the house, farewells, and chill movie and pizza nights. My main objective, however was to get on a boat again (before I got over the whole yachting idea).
