    We left Marathon behind about two week ago. We could have taken the ICW and stayed on calm waters but we didn't. Instead, we chose to go up the Hawk Channel (or The Outside as boaters refer to the ocean). We made this choice for several reasons.     ... San Francisco) Listening to Sean's description of his intense work schedule and competitive residency interviews confirmed my desire to continue to not work that hard.
