We found this hotel neat and clean, not very big and car park was small but staff very helpful.
There was a laundromat around the corner and it was a 5 min walk to the bus stop to catch the bus to anywhere we needed to go.
It was an easy half hour walk to fisherman's wharf and we did this a few times - even with young kids.
Warning though to those wanting to walk up the road to the 'crooked' part of lombard street - that final hill is a killer unless your super fit :) But well worth it!
Views from the tiny balcony are gorgeous and you can see the Golden Gate bridge :)
Would def recommend it here and would def stay there again

We drove from San Luis Obispo to San Francisco On PCH-California 1. Made many stops at the "vista points" along the way. We had lunch in Big Sur. It took us all day and some very intense driving thousands of feet up - no shoulders on the road and hairpin twists and turns. Driving parts of this highway are not for the timid. There were a few "oh …

We woke a little later today, thank goodness, updated this blog, quickly packed our things, booked out and headed to the Cedar House Restaurant for our buffet breakfasts. While eating we decided we'd try and find Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, where the amazing Giant Sequoias, also known as Giant Redwoods, are to be found. Well I think it was …

... restaurant full of tourists. The first sign of something wrong was when a waiter practically threw our dinner plates onto the table. Thinking he was having a bad day we continued on and ordered our food. When the food did arrive it was terrible. We both tasted our dishes but knew that was as far as we would go. As it transpired every other person in the restaurant was part of a coach tour so it was not the case that the restaurant had a ...
