... in people, we were invited to stay longer - Damn! Due to the absence of beer, and people moving on to a bit harder stuff, decided fairly quickly it was the right time to go home!

Tommi drove back (yep, USA and their drink driving) and spent the night, before in the morning catching a bit more of Downtown. Nothing to rave about - Skid Row is supposed to be interesting but didn't have time to see it before then moving on to my final destination in the US - San Diego.

... up Grouse Mountain, on the edge of Vancouver. This is where Becky found that despite loving heights, rollercoasters and suspension bridges, she is terrified of gondolas. Something about only having one arm freaks her out. A 6 minute 4000 feet gondola ride later, we reached the top (though Becky was eager to hike back down instead). Here we visited a grizzly bear refuge, saw a lumberjack show and watched a birds in motion demonstration. All in all, a good time. ...

... turned out to be to bloody sweet, not to mention feckin expensive. We had a look around the area where everyone meets and checked out some of the souvenirs. Danielle bought herself a veil (like those worn by princesses) which she wore instead of the dorky red crown. I thought about buying a suit of armour but was deterred by the fact it would possibly put me over my baggage weight allowance. Oh, and it cost $5,800.

We did Beverley Hills, Rodeo Dr, Sunset Blvd, Mullholland Dr, of course the Hollywood sign, Hollywood and finished the day at Santa Monica and its Pier.
Found the best fresh food grocery store called Whole Foods, its amazing and we all want one at Erina Fair!
Early start tomorrow the get to California Adventure Park early to make the most of the day there.
