It is September 29, 1960 and I have reached the top of Maine known as Aroostook County. This is a major potato growing area. I drove through Maines pinde wilderness on state route 11. I stayed in Rocinante for the night. I met a great family and had them over for wine. The family that came over was French Canadians and they were very nice.
