... after ice storm many years ago) but this situation had me right there. We got near the Casino, Glenn said, no way in Hades are we staying here, get us back to the freeway. That was not easy and we were getting in deeper if you know what I mean. I was near panic, staring at him like "are you crazy!!! why did you stop for the red light"..very tense. Anyhow, we made it back to freeway with all of our hubcaps (sorry, poor sense of humor there I'm sure) ...

Niagara Falls and Buffalo

Took the short route across Ontario to Niagara Falls. Even on a cloudy day the falls shine. They are simply incredible. But no barrel trips for me, or walks on a high wire over ( that was done last year I think). We'll go back this morning to experience the American side. Niagra on the Lake - a magical day

A travel blog entry by redtoaster

... alot like Ashland ... and in the middle of wine country.

So WOW - first night not sleeping in the van - a quaint B&B ... wine tasting - this is the world of ice wine - makes sense when you think of it and location - had a lucious lunch at one winery and then visited 3 others - then checked into B&B and went for an 11 mile bike ride and saw historic forts - then a SHOWER and delicious dinner and then went to the play The Millionairess by George ...
