      We woke up to sunshine which was the first we had seen in days so I was sort of feeling torn between racing home or spending a few moments checking out the Lake. We asked for some suggestions from the front desk and got a great tip to take the scenic drive up Prospect Mountain which was literally a few blocks away.       ... closed. I was getting worried but we managed to find one restaurant that was open and had great food…Barnsider. I made several calls to hotels from here including the Hampton Inn which was around the corner but they said they were at capacity. It was so confusing how the hotels could be booked up but nothing was open. I then called the Wingate by Wyndham which was a few blocks away and they had a great rate and Chris at the front desk was so sweet ...
