This is a good time to visit as the schools are back and most people are at work, we had fast passes so that we wouldn't have to stand in line for the rides too long,most waits were between 5 & 10 minutes sometimes just walking straight on. We have heard that in the peak season the waits were up to four hours for some rides.

We had a chill out day at Blizzard Beach, all a bit tired out. Great water rides and literally buckets of ice creams. They also had an ice cream with bacon bits in it, can't say we were tempted.

At night we ate a lovely meal at our hotel, at Olivia's Cafe. Good food, especially the banana bread pudding. Gary & I failed to finish it even though we shared.

... the slides we had wanted to by about 6pm when the usual afternoon Florida thunderstorm had made it's way over the park resulting in the closure of all slides and pools. We pulled up a seat and waited to see if the storm was going to pass. Unfortunately it wasn't going anywhere soon so we set off back to the hotel.

Today we went to Animal Kingdom, one of the Disney Parks. Safari ride to see animals like elephants, lion, cheetah, giraffe, hippos. A few rides here, not as many as the other parks. This one more about the animals and their conservation of them. Then we headed over to Epcot Park. This park more about technology and the future. Stayed for the Illlumination show. So that's 2 parks done in one day. On the flip side, we are finding Orlando very frustrating. ...
