    ... to see some of the outside exhibits - a garden area - some outbuildings, the avenue of big beautiful old trees, and Otsego Lake.

    I had wanted to show Emma the Iroquois Museum in Howes Cave, not that far from Cooperstown, but we ran out of time. It seems that we can usually only do two major sights per day - no matter what they are. So we headed back home. If we did anything else, I can't remember and have no photos of anything else to jog my memory.

    ... and then joined Mike and the girls who were tubing down the "rapids" on the river that passes from one end of the campground to the other. We had a lot of fun.

    Friday night we had another great campfire and spent time swapping adventure stories with the Deal family that had just come back from Frontier Days out in Wyoming.

    ... one time it was a metal plate that came from someones home. OK, enough learning.

    Stopped at a roof top bar and grill for a much needed drink and bite to eat and then to watch a pickup baseball game at Doubleday Field.

    On our travels we stopped at a creamery for some ice cream and they must have known Chris was coming. There were signs all over saying "NO". We were allowed in the creamery. Whew!

    ... view of the new One World Trade building and New York City. Wow! We said good-bye to Hillary who works in Brooklyn, but Rick and Susan stayed on to do the Big Apple with us. We went to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty via ferry one day, then cruised up the Hudson to Half Moon Bay Marina at Croton-on-Hudson.
