We didn't want to spend too much so this was one of the best cheapest hotels we could get.
    Rooms were clean but old.
It was about 15miles from Niagara Falls but very near to all eating outlets like Buffalo Wings.

... there are other people in the room trying to sleep! We won't mention which child (ben) couldn't lay still (ben) and sounded like he was running a marathon in the sheets. Paul and I laid there quietly at first. It got so ridiculous that both ended up laughing hysterically which then wound them up again. Then that child (ben) ended up on the floor next to me "ah-hemming" to get my attention because he and the other boy ...

I decided to take the lazy option today and go on a tour bus as recommended by reception and a few backpackers. I felt pretty average after the night on the town yesterday so a bus trip that required zero thinking was just what I needed.

An elevator takes you down 175ft to the base of Bridal Veil Falls, from there you walk around the bottom of the falls on a wooden platform which is pulled down & reassembled every year. It wouldn't be able to withstand the harsh winter climate. ...
