A travel blog entry by pndcadena on Apr 05, 2015

Up this morning around 7:00am got dressed and went to breakfast at Country Skillets. After our usual good breakfast we headed to the 10am Mass for Easter Sunday. It's been a busy week with the Passion Drama and all the Holy Week services. So looking forward to a few days of rest heading out to Tahoe.

After mass we got home about 12noon and packed our suitcases and car. Got out of town about 1pm. We hit some traffic right in ...

We spent a couple of hours looking around the prison, which included an audio ...

... we wanted them. We got to see the farmlands and rural America we would not have seen if we flew. Yes it took way longer but the benefits where way better. We saw fields of strawberry, chillies, pumpkins, spinach, almonds and onions, potatoes , farmers and farm hands working their crops. Saw some wonderful coastlines and campers who just use public car parks to park their vans and pitch a site. Arrived at Santa Barbara ...

LA, Santa Barbara and Pismo Beach

A travel blog entry by merinika on Jul 30, 2014

... by our tour director with loads of wedding balloons all over our seats on the bus this morning it was so lovely of him. We headed out of Las Vegas and the Nevada desert and into the Mojave desert on our way to Los Angeles. We headed onwards and out of the desert and crossed over the San Bernardino mountains and into the distance we caught glimpses of Hollywood the second largest city in America, Los Angeles or just LA. Our first stop was to check out Olvera street the home to ...
