    ... discover the branch on the Internet page does not exist any more.Todd & Talley to the rescue...and after a few hectic phone calls, Talley was able to wire money from their bank account (same bank as ours) to the deallership and enable us to proceed with the sale.

    ... and all decided that corn tortillas
    were not for us! We'll stick to flour ones. To top that off we had
    strawberries and then cherry tarts. Unusual and not all that
    satisfying! Then back to Walmart to buy some more supplies. It's
    taking a bit of thinking to work out what we need but we have most of
    the bedding and some of the kicthen stuff sorted thanks to Shanna.
    Duvets seemed the way to go ...

    ... one of the team identifying bodies after the Asian Tsunami and the Christchurch earthquake. We had a guy from the Royal Lifeboat Institute in the UK - we had heard his lectures in 2006 on a cruise to the Norweigan fiords and enjoyed him so much that we were happy to hear him again. There was a very entertaining guy who did a series of talks on "science for the unscientific" - he spoke on the tides, Fibonacci's numbers, lasers, ...

    Los Angeles, March 25 and 26
    Flight was smooth-although after about 8 hours I have had enough despite good movies being available!! Watched A Good Lie and The Water Diviner.Was very happy with QANTAS. Yea...!
