Got up this morning at 6:00 a.m. Anxious to get on the road to get to that warmer weather. Oops, when we tried to close the slide-out in the bedroom the awning on top of it was frozen. A hunt for a ladder, a little wiggle and it was fixed. Phew! Obstacle 1... Check!

7:45 a.m. On the road! No snow. Bonus! Our destination today, a place called Eighty-four, PA. We had arrangements to boondock there, but, obstacle ...

Bring it on honeymoon trip - we are ready for anything...I married an Eagle Scout for a ...

Oh yea! I almost forgot. We drove through a town called Shartlesville and stopped there to get gas! PFFFT! ;)

We left Highlands Wednesday morning in a rain storm and stayed in a rain storm most of the day. We found out later our hometown fireworks scheduled for the 4th of July were cancelled due to heavy rains. The southeast mountains have lived up to their rain forest reputation this year. Our trip took us east on I-40 and then north on I-77 all the way to Charleston WV. All 450 miles of the trip were uneventful and not particularly scenic. It did stop ...
