      ... It might be the biggest lake, period. I forgot that fact exactly so just know it takes a good hour to drive by. Our camp, as I said yesterday, was in a treeless desert close to the lakeshore. Because of that the hot , southwest sun began pounding on our tent roof as soon as it could peek over the mountains.       ... chipmunks, turkeys and a bird called Clark's Nut Cracker. Once we left the park we went to Don's favourite brewery, the left hander. Don is a master brewer himself and made some fantastic beer, according to Red. Mexican was on the menu for tea at a local restaurant. We had the biggest margarita I think there ever was.
