... with a cooler full of beer. As we expected "old faithful" erupted once more at 5:30. So Jeff got up and rescued the drying clothes from the new river's path. There was no going back to bed at this point so we packed it all up again. The manager comped our site and security guard Paul was very helpful. ... enjoyed the boat show but also the Christmas lights on local residences and businesses. It was a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.

We will be spending Christmas with our good friends Jim and Della from Gibbons. They bought a beautiful winter home in Palm Springs and invited us to join them for the holiday as they won't have any family for Christmas either.
