... with clear blue skies, the perfect temperature, not too cold and not hot. So worth the hike (even Josh said so!) After we got back to Curry Village, we jumped in the car for our drive to San Francisco. The drive was mostly uneventful and the traffics flowed pretty well, however we probably had the most "grip the seats" ride as we descended through the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas near Groveland along what is referred to as New Priest Grade, with over 100 curves and hairpins and ...

Chris and the girls picked us up from the station, and we got something to eat for lunch at a bakery on the way to Sakura's swimming lesson. We ate our lunch on the wooden steps outside the pool, then went inside and watched Sakura go through her paces with ...

... listened to a talk on the escape and heard the arguments as to why they would and would not have mangaed to survive the escape. Then we watched the closing and opening of the cell doors and got to hear what they would here on a daily basis and learn about their routine. This was an incredible evening.

The next day we then went to see the wiggly road and ride the cable cars some more. In ...
