... What do you think? Kind of cool if it's true.

There is a museum inside, and it is free. The Lewis & Clark expedition museum, and the movie that they show is great. They have a store with St. Louis souvenirs and a candy shop. I've been to the observation area, but the little "pods" that you ride in on your way to the top of the arch are very small. They pack up ...

... this was Sheila's first trip. Awesome view of the city.

Then, we did a riverboat tour along the Mississippi River, followed by lunch at the Budweiser Restaurant next to the Busch Stadium.

The dwarves and I were missing becuase we were all hanging from a tree tied up in webs and Bilbo rescues ...

... than the Crystal Bridges Museum - it's all concrete and right angles. Once you get inside you see that it’s laid out as an elongated “U” with a long, narrow reflecting pool filling the space between the two arms of the building. Windows on both sides allow views of the water outside and allow natural light to pour in to the interior. It creates a very nice atmosphere for viewing the art, though without the art the building seems ...

... This does work well, but only if you don't loose the map (wasn't me!).

Loads of places seen and things done, but only a few worth a mention. Main thing was a visit to the Gateway Arch, the Gateway to the West, which was built in the 60's blah blah etc etc.... It's a 630ft stainless steel arch on the riverfront that houses the tourist information area and contains a "train" of snug 5 seater capsules (see pic) which you ride ...
