Nice cheap, comfortable, whistle stop at $60 for a double room.
Easy access wifi, but the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Supposed to be continental, but all you got was tea, coffee, orange juice and a choice of little donut things. Not even cereal and toast.
Not continental by international standards. Thus the two star rating.
Otherwise quite good, although the staff were not very friendly upon checking in. The guy behind the counter in the morning was a little more friendly, but not much.
They have a long way to go in the field of customer relations.

Castle Car Wash was built in 1925 and is the last remaining historic gas station structure on Route 66 (Ogden Avenue) in the city limits. Chicago was the eastern terminus of Route 66. Originally Murphy's Filling Station, the building stopped functioning as a filling station in 1966 and later became a car wash. The Route ...

Worse, was that I could not drive as I didn't have a license any longer to show the rental company. I consequently missed driving in the only three states in the eight states we drive through that I have not already driven. On my Road Trip. This year that included, but was not limited to, finding new homes for the boys' pet turtles (it was on the agenda anyway, why not do it before we leave?), putting our 13 year old cat to sleep (see previous note), and arranging a house sitter (the simplest of the three tasks!).

But, we were able to do it (at least I'm sure everyone has socks and underwear) and ...
