... of the country, so we got on I-70 and stayed south of most of the storm. Got to the Elks Lodge in O'Fallon, Missouri at 5PM, had a nice fried chicken dinner in the lodge.

... We hiked up and up and up and stopped a lot to take photos which was really an excuse to catch our breath. We all did really good and were feeling pretty fit and spent a lot of time encouraging others to complete the hike.

... found a cool little spot to have a picnic lunch. Our traveling restaurant seems to be finding some beautiful spots to pop-up at.

After lunch we walked a short distance to the falls. They were super cool and surrounded by incredible scenery. The other aspect to this park is that it is full of caves. Some reach back as far as 90 feet. Unfortunately we did not know about the caves until we arrived so we did not have any flashlights with us. We ...
