... Flat farm grounds. Then it became more interesting, through the north part of Mt Rainier National Park. Idaho was beautiful, all mountains and forest. First Coeur D'Alene, national park. Then Lolo National Forest. In the pictures you see some great views. Ended in Missoula. Long drive, 775 km. or 482 miles. Had dinner, now in the hotel writing this. Internet is bad so uploading later. Tomorrow to Yellowstone ...

Then they'd take it to the rubber table and flip the box over, the washing had been done correctly because all the sapphires were directly in the center. Under the lights they look like pieces of glass, some were tinted yellow, blue, green and pink but most were clear and shiny. I'll tell you that it was far more fun picking all those guys out of the Mega-Jug than ...

A visit with Yogi the Bear

We spent two nights with Yogi Bear and Boo Boo in Missoula. Yogi would walk the grounds at dusk and look for hugs. We visited the Smoke Jumper Center and got to see the jump plane, the training center and where jumpers prepare their packs. The town of Missoula is a clean and beautiful city with lots of young people. We wanted to tube the river but learned about it too late.

... were a ton of cars stopped so we also stopped to find a hill covered in metal wild horse statues overlooking a valley. We walked up the hill took pictures of the amazing scenery and then got back in the car. Today is our longest planned journey of around 8 hours not including stops. We had an hour or so of flat landscape fields before we crossed into Idaho and back into more amazing scenery and lakes. We had expected the drive to be boring but ...

    Tuesday, Day Eight

A travel blog entry by travel2gether on Jul 22, 2014

Woke up naturally today and decided to take a long walk after breakfast.

We walked for over two hours, came back to the house and rested as it was very hot (90's), Still with no humidity.

Tuesday night we went over to Bryant's and he fixed tacos. He is a darn good cook! He also baked chocolate chip cookies and they were still warm!

    Good family time.....
