... Rockies. A statue made in the likeness of the Virgin Mary. She is about the size of the Statue of Liberty and was built by blue-collar volunteers.

Then off back to Missoula for crockpot soup and cornbread.

We went walking my first day here (where I was embarrassed by having to huff and puff up a small hill until she reminded me of our altitude), then took a much longer hike up in the hills north of town the next day. I kicked myself for not remembering my camera because there were many lovely shots I could have shared with you. Sorry.

But I did have it with me when we went out to dinner to celebrate her new job ...

We started off our venture on Thursday morning to The Jerry Johnson Hot springs. Little did we know we were in our way to Idaho!! Yes Idaho! We hiked a little over a mile to get to the hot springs. What an amazing site. The girls loved it since it felt like a hot tub and Baby Gia loved it so much she dropped a bomb it it!! Leave it up to Nana Kim to scoop it out so people didn't think it was a babyruth! Back to the hotel after that for a lil swim time and some chicken ...

We left Alder, Montana KOA this morning and arrived in Missoula, Montana. We were able to find a campsite at the Jellystone Park (Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park). It is a really nice park and with that name caters to a family environment. The town of Missoula seems to be very nice. ... to see him up close and we just couldn't believe how gigantic he was! When we were a few feet away he finally moved to the other side of the road but was still only a foot or two from the side of the truck when we snuck around him. A little too close for Aimee after that Visitor Center movie!
