... all about protecting the NZ ecosystem from microbes from Kirtlington Quarry, the only place the boots have been worn previously. You seriously have to applaud their determination and diligence in this endeavour.

Anyway, its all done very politely and with some repressed humour and we get our shoes cleaned in the bargain. "Here you are sir, welcome to New Zealand". "Thanks very much officer, we're delighted to be here"
