      Bondi Beach coastal walk

We took a bus to Coogee Beach and made the 2 hour coastal walk to Bondi. We stopped at Tamarara to take a swim, wish I 'd had my board although being Sunday, it was manic in the sea. The Australians are so lucky being able to just rock up on the beach and have a Babie, go surfing and chat in lovely sunshine. Each little cove had fresh water showers, grassy areas with shade, changing areas, barbecues, cafes and bars and beach volley ball. When we eventually got to Bondi, it was great to ...

Awake at 9am with a shower and change we were ready to go out by 10am and making plans with Poppy to meet in Bondi Junction. It was a beaut of a day, not a cloud in the sky and 30* when we caught the bus outside our pad. With only a short ride we were wandering the streets of the junction to first pop into find some loos in Westfield centre, I checked out a couple of the shops whist Andy used the conveniences, the shop prices were not to my liking. We next ...

... an order or two to boot. I noted that a lot of the stalls were infact the local shops, just selling their stuff out in the street, as well as the many cafe or restaurants. There was certainly no shortage of food stalls with every kind of grub imaginable. Having perused the first street, we reached the Royal Oak. Staff in this place didn't look all that happy, and Poppy was not impressed that she had been blanked by the girl who she had gone in to see about being included ...

... hot metal bus bench for others to stick to. The bus journey was slow going up hill, with poppy clearly ignoring the signs not to put your feet up on the seats. Having to change at Bondi junction, we stopped off at the apple store to enquire about Poppy's phone exchange and ask about our icloud issue. Then to the Peter Pan travel agents so Poppy could pick up her bus tickets for her New Year travels. Once done we jumped on another bus to Bondi having to stand ...
