    I think Neil Young is a perfect travellers companion. Part hippie, part poet, part biographer of our times. We sat in our light filled apartment, hearing snippets of conversations float up from the plaza below and we listened to our friend Neil. Such a perfect accompaniment to those afternoons of wine, cheese and bliss. "You and I, we were captured. We took our souls and we flew away".

    ... show thing, dolphin show and marching bands with a mini carnival thing and places to eat and drink! All the music was from the 80s and it felt like we had gone back in time and we only had to pay £15 to get in and everything other than food and drink was free - unbelievable! The next day we went to a spa where there were mud baths, apparently really good for your skin and to be fair I did feel really good after! That was followed by a hot bath and swimming pool ...

    I now have an extra 48 hrs in rome, so i have booked a
    rome hostel and will book some rome tours, then i have now cancelled
    my athens pre contiki accomodation and the contiki greek island
    hopping, in exchange i have booked the contiki mediterranean trail
    and 11 day greek island ...
