I'm at a dunkin donuts in North Platte, Nebraska. I’ve been driving since 7:45 (mountain time) this morning and its now 1:00 (central time). I drove into the central time zone about an hour ago. After our Fort Cody visit, we went to the Buffalo Bill Historical Park where I learned several facts about William Frederick Cody that go far and beyond the spectacle of his Wild West Traveling Entourage.

It got really windy during the night and blew our tent stake out on the kids end. We woke up to Cameron yelling. I yelled to the girls to get up and move. Peyton apparently can sleep through anything! I held the tent out/down from the inside and Brian ran out and hooked it back down. This gives me the option to make for home tomorrow albeit a long ride if I go for it - 780 miles. This would qualify as my second longest mileage day sandwiched between the Billings Montana to Albert Lea Minnesota ride (850 miles) and last years Key West to Panama City FL. ride (710 miles). We'll see how I feel about it ...
