... story. I decided to buy a ticket for tonight’s show. I continued searching for caches and found 2 while walking through the Christchurch Botanical Gardens AND Hagely Park. Ithen headed back to the centre of town to find somewhere to eat.
I walked over 6 miles doing the geocahes hunts today and finally stopped at the Holy Grail. The place was a sports bar. I porceded to the bar area only about 8 people filled the ...
... information and the visit was worthwhile as they are undertaking some research which the NPIA might be able to help with in the future so, as they say over here, it's all good.
Time to relax this weekend and a fellow Fellow from Auz is joining me for the weekend so I am looking forward to this. We have planned to go whale watching and I am really looking forward to this.
... showers and beds with broken springs. I met some more great people and i learnt to weave a bracelet and attended a local cava drinking ceremony. The Fijian people are incredibly friendly and it was nice to just chill out on the beach and catch some sun. Korovou had an interesting set up for the dorm. they managed to squeeze 28 people in one room, and give us outdoor cold showers and toilets. I thought the one saving grace could be the food, but ...
Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand sarahsammy... calls later they inform us that it is found in Roby's car and NO problem he would come by again to the airport and give it to us.
We are flying Pacific Blue, a low cost airline of the region. They turned out to be real cheap even in their attitude. There is a highly restricted weight limit on the flight and they literally made us open all our cases rearrange stuff such that we loaded some 5 kgs in Sujatha handpurse, made flight handcarry case out of a cloth laundry bag ...

Oxford, New Zealand erincastillo... wohl kochen, sonst haette ich das Gemuese ja umsonst gekauft. Irgendwie wurmt mich das. Naja.
Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand mirja... impressive by the quality of the house, and our room was all made up (its sort of an annex-cum-garage) for us...with a big and very comfy bed which was just what we needed! Instead of going straight to bed at 2 in the afternoon, we thought that after 3days of travelling we deserved some PINTS of beer and a very long awaited scolding hot (for me) CURRY! Two of the things we both missed greatly from Central America.
We spent the weekend exploring the beautiful city (and it ...
... New Zealand has lots of glaciers. The train went through the Southern Alps and crossed them at Arthurs Pass. We went past lots of mountain sheep stations, waterfalls, rivers, and mountains. It was a pretty bumpy but a nice ride. Now we are in Christchurch and ready for some Kia (Maori for food)!
Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand zolab... on it's short circuit of the city. We visited the city's museum and art gallery, as well as enjoying the gardens and Avon river that snakes through the place. Many of the buildings are gothic style architecture and it is the sort of city where you could easily kick back and relax. All in all it was a great introduction to NZ. The day was complete by treating ourselves to an Indian in the restaurant attached to our hostel and it was perhaps the best Ben had ever had!
Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand benbeckie... we didnt see any. then took off to a different beach, more populated but just as picturesque. we ran home for dinner then out agian to whaririki beach. hiked barefoot through countryside and sand dunes. wondered around the beach at sunset and explored more caves. built a few sand castles and jumped off the dunes. day 9: christchurch, NZ last day in NZ. woke early and started driving. sadly we had to let our sunny go. sunny was the ...
