Chuck wanted to see his Uncle Ron and he was going to be at his cabin on Lake Muskelunge. We had no idea where it was or the address but we used the iPad and drove around until we found a sign by the road. So, we surprised them. Had a great Wisconsin dinner with Brats, burgers and fresh apple pie. It was great to see them!

Quite a long drive and pulling the rig uphill but a nice view of the mountain lake - Lake of the Clouds. Wonderfully quiet and peaceful here. Continued on the road south to Wisconsin. Happened upon Bond Falls, also recommended by Bob and Jean. Surprised to find that it was not out of our way. Pulled in ...

... so I decided to go there, it's was only 5 miles away. Rib Lake turned out to be a nice little town, and the camp has apparently not been discovered by anyone, because I was the only guest. 74-year host Dean, a former U.S. Marine, welcomed me, and I found a nice site and set up camp. Later I went for dinner at Camp 28, just a mile away. I don't (yet) have a Verizon/HotSpot, so I rely ...
