... capped mountains and probably had the quickest greens we have played on for the whole trip. We played with a local member and one of the golf shop staff. The weather and our company was great but our games need a little work before we hit the tee at Bandon Dunes!

Tomorrow we are off to Eugene, Oregon. It is about a 5 hour drive north from Redding. We will spend a couple of days there before we head to the coast and make a 3 day stop in Bandon, Oregon.

I think we were all expecting we would only stay an hour and a half or so but ended up chatting for four hours at Madayne Eatery and Espresso, a local coffee shop. I then headed to The Hearth Cafe, another local coffee shop, where I met Clare. Clare was my Revival Group pastor last year when I was a student at BSSM. It ...

Later in the afternoon we arrived at the Loomis Museum named after B.F. Loomis, quoted at the beginning of this entry. We were met by Ranger Steve Zachary who gave us an overview of the park. In the gift shop John overheard one of our group members, an avid blogger and photographer, wonder aloud if he was too old to be a junior ranger. ...
