Days 91 to 98 in Melbourne
... two of the fancy apartments with magnificent views, because when this area takes off it will be magnificent and must be a great investment. The shops are all now factory outlet stores with 50-70% discounts and we managed to buy a couple of nice warm sweatshirts & jerseys. There is an impressive new 55 000 seater sports stadium here as well called the Ethiad stadium.
On Tuesday we went back into the city to carry on our touring and visited a couple of ski shops ...

... go back on the 12th after a few nights in a Cairns hotel and a ten hour train journey, but honestly, we wish we were going back tomorrow. Now we just need everything to fall right for us, jobs and a place to live. We are looking to share a house in Airlie to keep costs down. Great Ocean Road!
... the name of the tour company on the bus was different than the company that I signed up with, but the guide stepped out & called my name, so I figured it was safe to say this was my tour! I was the second person on the bus - there was just this one other girl from Germany already there. It took about an hour to collect everyone else - full bus of 21! Once we were settled in, we were all ready to go! Side note: Our tour guide's name - Captain Glen!

Full tummy, full case and hopefully an empty plane
... airbase between 1928 and 1971. It has two storey rows of terraced houses on gardened lots in streets with names evocative of London... Edgeware Road, Lambeth Walk, Picadilly.
Today, all the houses are owned by the Singapore government and leased. Judging by the swings and climbing toys, it is popular with young families and/or expats.
By now it's 3pm... Lunchtime! And only one compulsory meal stop remains.

... Pantry. I missed that place. And a lovely and very charming waiter to keep us entertained. ;) - Discovering the Elk store and being blown away by their amazing jewellery. Look out everybody, it's my new one-stop-gift-shop. - Finding a super cool new watch that says Abby on it! - Endless giggles and crazyness with Carolynne. Some things never change.
