... it and trying, downclimbing and 'taking' (Dan holding the rope tight so I could rest for a few minutes), I was sooo disappointed because I was SO sure my head was ready for it, I wasn't even that nervous. It was something I had decided to do 100% on my own and I knew I was ready to take my climbing and commitment to the next level, and then I couldn't do it.

But later Dan made a good point that I shouldn't ever really expect to be 100% comfortable all the time, not ...

... speeches. The 90 minutes went very quick, but the good bit was they stayed in the lobby and took photos and signed stuff for everyone, so the boys got to meet them personally. Had a really late night, so we had a bit of a late start this morning. Glen took me out to the Bellagio for lunch. Wow, talk about opulence gone to the extreme! There's no amount of money spared on some of these hotels. Had a fantastic buffet lunch. We went to a shopping centre called the Miracle Mile, were the roof looks like the sky. You would think that you were ...

... At night we went to Ghost Club which had a magnificent view of the city and we left a big impact on Vegas in the space of two nights.

The next morning we left 45 minutes late because people were still asleep - Craig had no issues with that thankfully - and we left for the Grand Canyon.

I didn't do a lot of sightseeing in Vegas because I would be back here in August for four more action filled nights - but my time here was ...
