For the second half of our stay in Los Angeles we were meant to be staying in a neighbourhood called Inglewood. However before we even got there we were given a lot of warning from several different people, including the hostel staff in Las Vegas saying as long as we weren't staying in Inglewood we should be fine.

Home again, home again jiggedy jig with our final Metro adventure of the day in peak hour squashed cheek to jowl with the locals. A quick turn around and we were back on Holllywood Boulevard to try and find the perfect solution to dinner. The destination was the Hard Rock Cafe and after giant ...

I woke up at six thirty and couldn't get back to sleep so went and read on my balcony for a couple of hours until the others were up. My first knowledge of their awareness was Hayley shouting that we have mice. Yes you read that right, there’s a mouse loose about this house (I hope you all read that with a Scottish accent!). Our loaf of bread had been attacked at both ends and there are now two chunks missing, and I suspect two very full fat mice somewhere sleeping off ...
