George & Lisa who run the place made us feel very welcome. The price was great for the area on a Friday night. Clean simple charming rooms. Pretty good continental breakfast also.

On the journey we went through Napa and made our way from there in the direction of Jenner. As we got closer more and more Redwood trees appeared. The reason they grow in this area is because of daily fog and mist which comes off the ocean and travels along the rivers, creeks and hills towards these trees, which is probably similar to ...

I decided on Friday night to get of town for the first time in a while, locally at least. It was the best decision I could have made. I had been lagging and feeling depressed and sluggish lately on the weekends. I needed an adventure to restore my spirit.

I left super early for a couple reasons. 1) I wanted to get there while the tide was low and 2) to avoid traffic. I managed to be ready and leave just after 6:30am. The drive over was smooth. It took about ...

The next day our son Willi and his gal Shelly came to spend their day off with us. We have been struggling to get somewhere close enough to Napa, where they live, so they could drive out and see ...

I went into the NFL shop and picked up a couple of snapback hats, one Stanford, a local university and the other was Notre Dame Irish. I next waited for the ferry back and a large Texan lady got chatting to me. She was a good laugh ...
