We also stopped in Angel Canyon at the Best Friend Animal Society which has been featured on Cable and I believe they have even had their own show. (Someone can let me know). We didn't go in or for the tour, but after looking at the Web Site it is amazing. It is the largest refuge in the US for abused animals.

... down the canyon. We got there with 15 minutes to spare - just enough time to see the last little bit of sunlight retreat from the canyon. Chris knew he was in the right place when he saw a half dozen other photographers with their tripods already on the bridge.
You may think by now that we've done the biggest, baddest trails in the park. Not so! Tomorrow, we're heading to the granddaddy of them all - The Narrows!
... first pool. We did enjoy the waterfalls by the lower pool and were glad we saw it.
