We crossed the street and headed back towards the ship, and we saw a woman holding a sign that said "Hungry. Please help." There are quite a few homeless people in Santa Barbara and many have funny signs or signs like “Blah Blah Blah I just want alcohol. Give me money.” So seeing this simple plee for food and not money for booze made me turn back and buy a BLT sandwich and an apple juice from a specialty café for this woman. ...
