      ... Well that didn’t quite happen! The traffic was terrible, there was nowhere to park either side of the beach for miles, road works everywhere and to make matters worse we were both desperate for the loo!       We left a cloudy, rainy campground this morning and headed for sunshine. We stopped to check out a local roasting company in Los Osos, Slo Roasted Coffee, and talked to a super nice guy who gave us some free coffee samples. We arrived in Santa Barbara just as the final clouds burned off and found ourselves among towering palm trees and beautiful orange tiled roofs nestled between a mountain range and the bright blue water of the Santa Barbara Channel.       ... at the museum, two Master Model Builders from Legoland California will compete against each other to build models based on the Resort's new Lego Legends of Chima Water Park. I think it will be a busy but fun day. On Sunday and Monday, I might go to Carpinteria, a small city near by Santa Barbara, by train. I really want to get out of Santa Barbara and go explore somewhere else!
