... by the time we get there we are lathered in sweat and ready to escape into somewhere, anywhere that's cool. First stop; the Bellagio and the fountain- very impressive. Then we go into Paris Casino complete with it's own Eiffel Tower and play a poker machine that plays poker. At least we understand how this game works. We have a couple of drinks here since Paul is occupied watching the barely-clad bar dancers, Since we haven't eaten for a while and ...

... we were moving on to a place called San Simeon. We had a busy day on the way we stopped at Avila beach in the morning, it was a lush morning so was a good plan. Chilling on the beach was nice and taking a walk. We also loved that the beach had swings (kids at heart still!) ... Also, next Tuesday, I am going to Hollywood and Beverly Hills and I am thrilled! Amy, my boss, is going to Los Angeles so she is going to drive me to Hollywood. I am going on a 2-hour hop-on, hop-off bus tour. This next week is going to be so cool! I can't even contain myself!!!

I am most likely going to write another blog post on Saturday and/or Tuesday.

      Until next time!

... stopped in Paso Robles at the Firestone Brewery. The brewery itself and gift shop was closed, but the restaurant and bar was open. We grabbed a table in the stylishly decorated converted warehouse and ordered dinner. The food was excellent and the beer flight that I sampled was quite good as well. We were back on the road before 7pm and arrived back home in San Jose by 9pm exhausted from the drive and happy to be back in our own beds.
