    ... quickly.

Finally, quite late in the day, we arrived at the charming Morro Bay Suites. A charming butter yellow motel, which had been revamped into a lovely seaside place to stay.

We headed to the pier and saw lots of seals resting on the rocks before finding a lovely restaurant, The Galley, with views of sunset behind Morro rock. We continued our chowderfest, aiming to be connoisseurs by the time we arrived in San Fran, and shared some fish and chips and scrummy fish ...

Mum and dad ate at a near by pub, steak was $15 but dad said was actually slightly smaller than typical Aussie sizes. ... storey it cost us less than a dollar! Unheard of in Britain. Moving on again and with about 80 miles to go, we made our way to Santa Barbara. The temperature has improved now to a very sunny mid seventies and the sky is cloudless blue. We stayed at the Hyatt on Cabrillo Boulevard, right on the front overlooking the Pacific Ocean - perfect! We liked Santa Barbara, with lots of shops, plenty of variety from small individual ones to larger chain stores such as Nordstrom and ...

... day into two in the morning and early afternoon we went to see the main sites. Our first stop was the Missionary church which sat on top of a hill, it was in a lovely location and the church itself was very pretty inside along with lovely gardens to walk through. Our next stop was the old court house which was in the center of town, the court house had an awesome look out at the top, with views of the city so was well worth the trip up there, ...
