After a 220ish mile drive, I got to VA Beach around 7. Visitor's center closed, no plan in mind, and much too tired from the drive, I was lucky to find a motel last minute for a cheap price. Of course, I ended up getting what I payed for.

We are getting used to the lingo - so we hope y'all are well. Aussies are not very common in this part of the world and our slang and the form of English we use, causes problems - car park not a lot, tea towel not dish cloth. The list goes on. Stopped by Williamsburg for lunch
Drove south to Virgina Beach.
Went for walk along the Boardwalk.
Nice seafood dinner at Tautog's Restaurant.
At night there was Christmas lightup along the Boardwalk.
